What a discovery! This is one of the very best museums on natural history, science and questions of what constitutes "mankind" that we have visited. We spent 5 educative and entertaining hours in this museum (for comparison: we spent 3.5 hours in the Louvre), and we did not have one boring display/video etc to study. The exhibition is interesting and visually appealing. Displays are explained in English. Excellent for small children and science-interested adults. What a great time. Highly recommend it for the entire family!

The architecture and location make it unique. It's a very modern museum situated at the intersection of Lyon’s two rivers. I spent around 4 hours exploring, reading, and observing in detail. There are many halls dedicated to forests, minerals, epidemics, animals, humans, society, origins, and eternity.

Great exhibitions for children and adults.
Classical exhibition pieces for Museums of Natural history are put together in interesting ways that are informative and display scientific but also artistic views on different topics.
Absolutely recommended, one can easily spend half a day here.
Oh, the architecture is also very interesting!

An excellent museum in an amazing building. It’s well worth taking the tram to the southern end of the Presque Ile to visit this place. It has several exhibitions on that are all covered in the same ticket. A very wide set of topics with interesting, informative and challenging displays. It’s all shown in a very innovative and engaging way and you are free to go in and out of the exhibitions as much as you like.
The terrace on the roof has a cafe and you can walk around the museum to the actual spot where the two rivers meet.

Beautiful museum, worth staying for couple of hours and immerse yourself into new knowledge. Two floors filled with beautiful rooms, modern design and many interesting facts and exhibits. Moreover, it is free for people under 25!
